You are probarly doing what I was doing when I knew I needed to find a new Dentist...go hunting for great reviews on the internet.

It is a very hard decision when you suddenly realise that it's time for a change of dentist, actually stomach churning. I needed 2 dental implants and root canal, and for some reason what I was being told and how much it would cost was not sitting well with me (and I had been seeing my old dentist for many many years, and had lot's of work done by him).

So I went in and had a free consultation and six weeks later after meeting Dr Thompson 1 time, I had the dental implants and root canal performed all at his office and all done by him :) I now have a beautiful smile and great teeth and no nightmares that my teeth are all going to fall out!!

I feel very fortunate to have found Imagecare Dental. Dr Thompson is a wonderful dentist and know's his stuff!! They have an amazing crew of people working for them as well. Customer Service is top notch and you know 'they really do care' ;)

So all in all I am writing this hoping that I have made life easier for another person to find a great dentist. I say stop looking and call them today.

I have only gone to Dr. Thompson twice and he's been very professional both times. The first time was for a routine cleaning. The second time he put four fillings in my mouth, and it was the best experience I have ever had, hands down, with getting cavities filled. It was almost pain-free and he was very quick and proficient.

Doctor Thompson is excellent. He took care of a recent root canal for me, one that was particularly difficult. It was like watching an artist at work! He was meticulous! Plus, I had very little pain during or after the procedure. In addition, the office staff and hygienists are professional, friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Image Care Dental.

Dr Thompson just did my root canal and I would have to definately recommend him for this procedure. It was pain-free and he was fast. I was so stressed out by the thought of having this done but Dr. Thompson and his assistant Laura (who I have requested for all future procedures) were awesome. They made sure I was comfortable and explained the entire process to me. The entire staff is very knowledgeable and very caring.

Good doctor, professional staff. However, I was told that I had two cavities. A subsequent visit to a different dentist showed that I had no cavities. They also said that I needed a crown. Apparently, they try to push you into treatments that are not necessary.

My experience with Imagecare exceeded my expectations!!! I am new to the area and needed a good cosmetic dentist. My front crown cracked so I needed four crowns replaced and a new veneer. After calling I was scheduled the next day for a free exam and x-ray. Dr. Thompson took time to explain the procedures and offered to fix my cracked crown in the interim. I felt confident with his knowledge and gentle touch, the procedure was pain-less. The staff was extremely efficient and friendly, making you feel welcome while helping you with all the financial details upfront. I would highly recommend Dr. Thompson and Imagecare, I am more than happy with my new smile:)

You can tell all of the staff likes working there - they are so pleasant. There are no long appointment waiting lines. My previous dentist retired, and I needed to find another. I made various searches before coming to Imagecare, and Dr Thompson. AND am I ever GLAD I did! I broke a tooth, and needed a crown fixed on another. Dr Thompson was very impressive, professional, courteous, and about every other positive adjective I could come up with to describe my experience with him.

From the moment I entered the front door, I could tell this was going to be my dentist, as long as I live in the Plano area! I HIGHLY recommend ImageCare, and Dr Thompson. His staff is most friendly, and professional!

After more than 5 years of service from Dr. Thompson, my husband and I can confidently attest to the expert care we receive. The office offers comprehensive care, from basic cleaning to the most current aesthetic treatments. However, we have never been pressed toward services we did not desire; in fact, most services have been covered by our dental insurance plan. I met with the Dental Assistant Amye and Dr. Thompson's associate Dr. Tran for a first look at my teeth and bite. Over the past 26 years, since sustaining an injury to my TMJ, I have struggled with one dentist after another to find someone who would take a holistic look at the consequent problems I've struggled with ever since. This is the first time that the dentist suggested looking at the big picture and setting a plan in place to get these issues solved! I'm really impressed, and I feel well taken care of. I went to another dentist (in network on my dental plan at the time) and came out with a disaster (extraction #19). I came back to Dr Thompson and his team cleaned up all the disaster I had, built a new bridge for me. The exam was relaxing, Dr Thompson explained every step along the way to help me relax. The bridge is beautiful and fits so well in my mouth its better than my old tooth. I highly recommend him and his team to anyone I know. I will never go to another dentist. GREAT WORK! Dr Thompson and his entire staff are very professional and friendly. It is a very relaxed and welcoming place to go. He is a perfectionist in his work, explains procedures and takes the time to answers any questions & keeps up with the latest and greatest all which are very important.

He and his staff are very aware and sensitive to the comfort and needs of the patient and they make sure that you are comfortable throughout all procedures. All the crowns made and old fillings that have been redone, and bonding has been just first class work.

He was recommended highly to us by our previous dentist after we changed insurance. The fees are very competitive as well.

I went to the office to check it out before my first visit and spoke to patients that were waiting in the waiting room & many had been with him for 10+ yrs and were very happy which says a lot!

We are very happy and lucky to have found such a great dentist and have recommended him to many friends.

I began going to Dr. Thompson about four years ago. My objective was make to make sure my teeth and gums were in great shape as I neared retirement. Much to my surprise, my initial visit revealed major problems including preperidontal disease, leaking crowns & cracked fillings. This was shocking because I have always been diligent in preventative dental care. However, Dr. Thompson showed me photos of the problems so there was no question of the need.

At my request, procedures were stretched over 3-1/2 years to maximize yearly insurance maximum with most urgent work completed first and a couple of cosmetic procedures at the end. The quality of dental work was superb. If something from the lab was not exactly right, it was returned to be perfected. I really appreciated this. I also greatly appreciate that at no time was I pressured by Dr. Thompson or staff to do additional cosmetic work.

At my first 6-mo check up after all work was completed, I was thrilled to learn my gums and teeth are in great condition. I highly recommend Dr. Thompson and Image Care to everyone for dental care. Thank you, Dr. Thompson, assistants and entire staff for your professionalism, perfection, and outstanding care.

I am a patient and I also did and internship with Dr. Thompson, so I've seen both sides. As a patient I've always felt that everyone was extremely nice and made me feel totally comfortable and like I'm the most important patient in there. As an intern I got to know the staff even better and it was so great to see that everyone is just as friendly behind the scenes. It's like a big family, and I immediately felt like part of the family there. It was actually great to see how much everyone cares about the patients and that their work is done well. As a patient I never would have known how incredibly busy the office is because when the doctors, assistants, or hygienists are with you they make sure you're completely taken care of.

If you're looking for a dentist that is honest and has integrity -- it's Dr. Thompson!! I recently had a crown break off while I was flossing. The broken piece went down the drain so I had nothing to show. ImageCare Dental made an appointment for me and determined the porcelain has broken off. Since I was in no pain, an appointment was scheduled for me to come back in for the work needed to get a replacement crown. I was assured that because the crown should have lasted and not broken -- I would receive the new crown at NO CHARGE TO ME! And this was the more expensive higher quality crown that I had selected! It is being replaced with another high quality crown from a more reliable manufacturer.

I really appreciate that quality of service and material is a major component of the treatment I receive from Dr. Thompson and his staff.

I went to see Dr. Thompson about 13 years ago when I moved to the Dallas area based on the recommendation of a co-worker. I am very pleased with Dr. Thompsonm, his staff, and practice. I've had nothing but good results since he's been my dentist. The staff is always courteous and goes out of their way to accomodate my schedule (I travel a lot). I like that face that Dr. Thompson takes the time to listen to my dental concerns and always explains procedures in detail, and is not afraid of questions. I also like the fact that I know how much a procedure will cost before an appointment is scheduled. They take of insurance filings as well. Dr. Thompson is wonderful! One thing I like about this practice is that they tell you up-front what you owe. There are no hidden fees or surprises as you check out. Dr. Thompson and his staff have a great sense of humor which puts you at ease and they make you feel comfortable. He explains what he is doing to you in layman's terms and you can stop him at any time if you feel discomfort. The quality of work is phenomenal and I have minimal pain afterwards. I love this man! He is an artist as well as a dentist. He has as gentle hand and did both a complete set of caps and I never felt one shot! My new teeth are gorgeous. My smile is beautiful and has changed my life. I also have four implants from about 4 years ago. They also are great and did not hurt. I used to have to be sedated for my dental work. My dentist was out of town when I needed a root canal and I was referred to Dr. T. I could not believe that I allowed and trusted him to do this with just nitrous. I never even felt the shot. The whole procedure was painless. His chairside staff is wonderful, especially Tony, whom I request. She is so smart and personable. Everyone in the office have become my friend. I truly look forward to my visits. I enjoy kidding with Dr. Thompson - so please don't think I am really in love with him, I am old enough to be his ..... Aunt, HAHAHAH. My job is very demanding so I need to keep a very tight schedule, IMAGECARE offers very early appoitnments and they take me in at the scheduled time therefore I don't run late to my meetings. Front desk personnel are extremely friendly. I always had a great experience with the hygienist, they are friendly and very knowledgeable, they are not afraid to give recommendations to the doctor that may go against with what he thought at first, and the doctors are good at taking the hygienists input, they work like a team...a good team for the benefit of the patient's health and pocket.

My family moved overseas with my husband's job. Dallas became our new home base while living abroad. We needed a new dentist in the Plano area to meet our dental needs when we came back to the States at Christmas and for the summer break. We chose Dr. Thompson's practice and it was the best choice we could have made. Our family visited for the first time this summer. It was an amazing experience. We just came back for Christmas and Dr. Thompson and his staff made us feel like we were long time clients. In 2006 Dr. Thompson prepared a TAP ant-snoring device for me to wear at night to prevent/minimize snoring. My wife and I really enjoy having this device as it works so well. Recently my wife and daughter traveled to Rhode Island for my daughter's MBA graduation exercises. Both my wife and daughter said I did not snore during the trip. We are all extremely pleased with this device and the friendliness and expertise exhibited by Dr. Thompson and his staff in Plano, Texas.

Dr. Thompson recently did a replacement crown for me and I found him to be very professional. His skill level is excellent, and he was most thorough in explaining each step of the procedure. I have a mouth full of dental work and have been treated by a number of dentists over the years, and I was quite pleased.

My husband, daughter and I have been patients in this practice for five years. While I believe that we've received a high standard of care, I've never felt that unnecessary procedures were recommended. The fees charged are competitive. I consistently have found the staff to be friendly, helpful and competent -- they go out of their way to make patients feel comfortable and valued.

Dr. Thompson and his staff provide a professional and friendly atmosphere. Equipment and procedures are state of the art. Procedures are explained in full and considerable effort is made to insure comfort during procedures. As someone who has had some very negative experiences in the past with other dentists, I am grateful for the extra effort to ensure my comfort.

As a good businessman, Dr. Thompson tends to promote the more expensive, top of the line products such as crowns, however, I have never experienced any resistance to accepting less expensive alternatives. The same excellent services are provided regardless.

I have recommended Dr. Thompson to my friends and will continue to do so.

Three years ago, I had been going to a dentist in Frisco for approximately 2.5 years. I thought it strange but great that I never had any real issues (I have always been cavity prone) except cleaning every six months and a pat on the back that things were fine. LESSON WELL LEARNED....that dentists license was suspended and I soon found out I had SERIOUS dental issues that needed immediate attention. Mostly I needed someone I could trust after having such a horrible experience.

Then I found Dr. Thompson through my insurance company who highly recommended him. I have never looked back nor regretted my decision to try Dr. Thompson. I could not be happier with his services, his honesty, his staff and the sense of well being I have knowing that I am in excellent care now.

There are not enough good words for Dr. Thompson and his staff. They are professional, always on time and the work is superb. From your reception into the office all the way through the procedure, you will feel you are in the right place. If you have to go to a dentist (and let's face it, who does?) I feel he is the best in the metroplex!

I recommend him highly to my co-workers and friends and all have thanked me in return. That says alot!

I have been to several different dentists over the years, looking for one that kept up with the latest in dentistry, but still had a relaxed and welcoming environment. Dr. Thompson and his staff have all of that and more.

They performed a thorough initial exam, including x-rays that weren't uncomfortable at all (finally someone figured it out). Dr. Thompson took the time to come in and talk with me about what I thought I needed (I've never liked my smile) and what we should do to get there. I needed a deep cleaning and some fillings. They did it all without any pain - Dr. Thompson numbed me with a topical before doing any injections.

Everyone I encountered seemed genuinely happy to see me and happy to work there.

I have avoided going to dentists in the past, but I won't any more. I'm actually looking forward to getting Invisalign braces to straighten my teeth and Zoom whitening to make them sparkle. And what my wife has liked the best is the mouthpiece they are creating to help with my snoring. It has been an all-around great experience. Definitely give them a try!

The crown Dr. Thompson he put in a few years back is loose and falls out. It did not fit well either as it was much wider than the nearby teath. Now I am going to have to pay to get the crown re-done. Their front office staff was very friendly and I missed the hygenist when I left.
