Hello,
I recently went to the dentist due to a sensitve back molar. I thought I had a cavity. The dentist did full dental x-rays and an exam.
I have several broken fillings in my back lower molars. One of these has decayed to the point a crown will be required. Also on the x-rays they saw that one of my front lower teeth, which I didn't even know was a problem, has an abcess at the root but no visible decay whatsoever.
The estimate for my treatment was well over $5,000. My dental insurance will only cover $1500 for the entire year. I now have $1300 worth of coverage left for the remainder of the year after the x-rays and exam.
Unfortunately, I do not have good enough credit to qualify for one of the credit based payment plans via care credit, chase healthcare, etc. I cannot afford to pay the nearly $4000 portion of this out of pocket and the dentist does not offer an in house payment plan.
I had lasik surgery done two years ago and since I did not qualify for Care Credit was able to do an in-house plan and paid it off within twelve months. This is not an option with the dentist I saw.
I need to find someone who can fix my broken fillings and repair the abcess in my front tooth and can offer me a financial arrangement.
Thank You!
