Case Description
I recently had 3 lower teeth removed (teeth 23,24,25) due to their poor overall condition (crooked, chipped, broken, crowding). Tooth 26 was removed many years ago. Another reason for the removal is to correct mild overbite and overjut. In addition tooth 21 is severly angled toward the anterior. After the removal I had bone surgery of the mandible in the area where the teeth were extracted to allow lowering the bridge teeth height to correct my bite. I had this work done in Costa Rica and have had a good recovery. The plan of the dentist there is to do three root canals on teeth 22, 27 and 21. Teeth 22 and 27 will anchor a 5 or perhaps 6 teeth bridge. The root canals on teeth 22 & 27 are to allow enough reduction in the mass of these teeth to lower the overall height of the bridge to correct bite. The crown on tooth 21 is to straighten the angle of the tooth with a crown. I was told I have long roots in all these teeth, which allows the grinding down to correct bite. I am now ready for the next phase, and wish to see if I can have the last phase done here rather than going down to Costa Rica to finish the work. I am satisfied with the quality of work done by the dentist there, but with travel costs, it occurs to me I may be able to have the bridge work, root canals and crown done here at a comparable cost. Please give me an estimate or some idea of the costs for the proceedures I have described.

This seems to be a rather complex restorative case, so you should be very selective in who does this work for you. We have many years of experience and advanced training in this sort of restoration.
