When selecting a new doctor, consider the following:
  • Quality of Explanations: Compare dentist replies. Give preference to well-reasoned, detail-oriented, transparent explanations.
  • Experience & Qualifications: If a dentist has a practice listing, check their practice description, special training, typical office procedures and before & after case photographs.
  • Other Patients' Freedback: If a dentist has reviews, read other patients' reviews. The more reviews they have, the more likely it is that other patients' feeback is accurate.
  • Treatment Costs: Dental procedure costs vary from practice to practice and depend on a variety of factors. Because quality of patient care and treatment results vary from practice to practice most dentists will not "price-match" treatment fees of others.

I would recommend one of two things. First you can either search the internet for Dallas area Community Dental clinics, although they tend to mostly service children and are more limited with adult treatment you may be able to get into one of these clinics.

If this isn''''t a viable option for you we can help you apply for things such as Care Credit which would allow you to finance the services at reasonable interest rates. If we can help you with this please just call our office. Good Luck.

Baylor College of Dentistry, located on Gaston Ave. adjacent to Baylor Hospital, offers a low cost extraction clinic. You arrive at 5:30 in the morning and wait in line. It''''s first come, first serve. You receive an exam, x-ray and extraction for $53 and additional extractions for $18 each. You can call Baylor at 214-828-8100 for more information.
